Read our FAQs to find out more about our school trips in Vietnam

What age students are the trips for?

We offer school trips and student tours for elementary and high school aged students as well as university aged students. At TLP we work hard to develop programs that are appropriate to each age group. Our team also works with students and teachers before the trip to develop the required activities/ or curriculum needs.

How many students can go on a trip?
Our smallest groups have been around 5 while our largest are around 90! With larger numbers the students are split up into groups but everyone is together for meal times and traveling.
What's included in our school trips?

We know how difficult it is to organize a trip from another country so with all our trips we offer the following to make it as easy as possible for the students and teachers to sit back and enjoy the activities:

• Pre-trip meetings (in-country) or emails with teachers to design bespoke trips;
• Risk Assessments for all activities;
• Bilingual Vietnamese Guide with International Tour Guide license accompanying group;
• 24hr support and evacuation plans;
• All bookings for airport transfers, transport, accommodation, meals and activities in-country;
• All permissions for regional access and campsites;
• Equipment for specialist activities where required;
• Assistance with International flights and Vietnam visas.

Are gratuities/ tips included in our school trips?

All tips for external service providers are included in our trip costs. Our Trip Coordinators do not accept tips from guests.

Are there any other extra costs during a trip?

Water is provided during meal times but any other soft drinks are not included in the price of the trips. Students may wish to bring a small amount of spending money for souvenirs or gifts. In the locations we visit there may be opportunities to buy unique homemade gifts to take home.
